Writers' Workshop, April 28, 2017

Today we had a writers' workshop for students in grades K-6. Everyone listened as Mrs. Gray read a storybook about choosing beautiful words, as Mr. Covill talked about different ways to tell a story (with words, pictures, post cards, journals, maps), and as Mrs. Calhoun talked about doing beautiful illustrations!  We even had a chance to watch a fun little video about a cute little dog named Wilson that Mrs. Jeralds' daughter, Nicole, showed us. What a treat!  Then everyone created a haiku!  What fun everyone had!  There were snacks and even door prizes too!  Thank you to Mrs. Jeralds, Mrs. Pariseau, and Ms. Merrill for organizing this fun morning.
