In a response to a request by a student I'm sending out this message to create a Math Club. We need to reach a critical mass at this point to be able to gather during the time of the study hall. The plan is to meet once, at most twice a week and study math. The topics I have in mind now are: number theory, game theory, math induction, geometry. The list of topics may be extended. I invite all high school students: grades 8-12. If you are interested, let me know ASAP.

Thank you.

Dr. Monin.

Grades 3-6 please make sure to return your forms if you are interested in participating in the STEM after school program this spring! Thank you!!

Thanks to all who participated in Read-Across-America events during the week of March 5-9.  It was great to see the enthusiasm exhibited!  Thanks for the staff members who faithfully dressed up along with the students.

Read-Across-America winners for the year 2018:  Norma Underhill came the closest on the fish guesses.  She guessed that there were 440 fish; the actual number was 456!  For dress-up days the student winner is Paige Robinson and the staff winner is Bridger DeWitt.  For the student trivia questions, the winners are Dante Stankauskas, Alyvia Jaimes, and Arlyn Dorman.  All winners should stop by the library at some point on Wednesday afternoon to pick their prizes.  Again, thanks to all who participated in the fun.
