Title One Assistance Plan

Here at Pittsburg School, we believe in the importance of home and school partnerships to ensure every child is afforded an equal and individualized learning experience. Our Title 1 Assistance Plan is to provide you a better understanding of the Title I programs currently operating in our school district.

Title I services are offered from kindergarten through sixth grade to support English/Language Arts and Mathematics. We are fortunate to offer this service to all students who are identified as having an academic need.

Throughout the school year, we will offer various activities for our parents to participate in and work with our teachers to ensure we work as a unified team to meet all student needs. We encourage you, the parent, to participate in Open Houses, Title I academic events, and parent-teacher conferences.

School-Parent Compact

Pittsburg Schools, and the parents of students participating in activities, services and programs funded by Title I, Part A agree that this compact outlines how the parents, the entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement. It also outlines the means by which the school and parents will build and develop a partnership that will help children achieve the State’s high standards. This school-parent compact is in effect during the 2019-20 school year.
